Our web page is located on servers that run on green energy and we also give a percentage of our net annual profit to various charitable organizations across the world. In other words, you are making the world a better place by dancing, thank you!
Payment and general terms
We accept payment either by cash in the class or through bank transfer or TWINT. Classes are to be paid to us either in advance or directly to us in the first class. For all other services (e.g. studio hire etc.) we require payment in advance.
Timetable and classes
Missing classes can happen and we try to help you. Classes that have been missed during a semester can be made up for in the same semester, let us know beforehand, however there is no refund for missed classes.
The world change, so does our schedule. We reserve the right to add, change or remove classes and instructors on our timetables. Rhythmia reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances, on public holidays, over the period of large industry events. We will always make an effort to inform cancellation of classes in advance via our social media channels, notice boards, in school and during classes. For classes that are cancelled due to circumstances on our side, you can choose to either get your money fully refunded for the number of classes cancelled or transfer them over to another class.
Clip card / Stamp card
The stamp card is valid for period of 6 months after purchase and is non-transferable and non-refundable. After six months have passed, the stamp card is no longer valid.
Cancellation
Workshop registration is binding and we do not offer refunds, unless the workshop is cancelled.
Rhythmia cannot be held responsible for any workshop missed because of dancers' inability to attend due to transport delays, strikes, weather, injuries, illness, personal loss, or any other reason.
Rhythmia reserves the right to cancel a workshop should there be insufficient enrollments or in case of illness / unavailability of the workshop instructor. If this occurs the workshop fee will be refunded to the participant in full, but no additional damages are paid to participants. In case only part of a workshop series is cancelled then this part will be refunded.
Liability
Rhythmia does not offer insurance for student property that is lost, stolen or damaged. All items are brought to the studio at the item owner’s own risk. Students are allowed to take their valuable items with them into the class room during class.
Health and safety
Dancing is healthy for both body and soul. Dancers are happy people! That said, participation in class is at your own risk. As a student you declare to be in good health and to understand that the organizers and teacher are not responsible for any accidents or injuries incurred during class time. If you have specific pre-existing medical conditions (i.e. injuries, illness) or in case of pregnancy, please seek the advice of your doctor beforehand.
Studio hire
Bookings are confirmed upon payment and receipt of confirmation from Rhythmia.
Advertised prices are per hour and bookings must be of a minimum of 1 hour. We do not accept bookings with fractions of an hour. Any use of the studio after 15 minutes over agreed booking time will be charged at an additional hour at full rate.
We offer a 10% discount for bookings of 10 hours or more when the total fee is paid upfront.
Please note that we do not issue refunds unless we cancel the booking. Reschedule requests must be done with no less than 14 days notice and will only be granted if possible. For cancellations requested with less than 7 days notice, the booking will be lost, and no credit issued. Bookings made at discounted rates are not refundable.
Advertised prices are for dancing and fitness related classes, please contact us for functions and other activities.
It goes without saying that we have a dance school code. All dancers, irrespective of level, gender, nationality, sexual orientation or any other factors, are welcome and all students, teachers, party organizers and friends are obliged to show respect to each other, both in class and during parties as well as outside of school. Threats, discrimination or harassment of any kind is not accepted and will result in a notice or exclusion from event and immediate termination of contract with no refund.
